It was interesting to see a real mix of internet companies, direct marketing companies mixing it up.  I met some real characters that were pleasurable to talk to, unfortunately most were pushy sales guys trying to book appointments for the following week.  This year I was wise not to bring any business cards and leave the badge in my pocket so that i didn’t get zapped.  I appreciate companies are paying over the barrel to get new business, but if someone doesn’t want to be contacted then there really isn’t much chance of making a sale is there?  Most interesting were the email asp solution providers, domain sellers, usability (£20K) and the analytics other than that not much else.
