The future is now? It would seem so although its most probably the preserve of celebrities and people with too much money.  A soldier once gave me the prediction that Britain in the future will move towards a model where we will take one pill for each meal that will meet our nutritional requirements.  I don’t think we’re quite there yet but dite delivery services or mail order meals are an interesting development on this topic.

Although its unlikely to be enjoyed by the masses anytime soon in this economic climate, I can see this becoming popular in the future as many of these services promise convenience and improved nutrition as well as weight loss.  Is it any wonder they are becoming more popular in the age of hectic jobs, lifestyles making cooking too much of a chore especially as personal chefs will become too much of a luxury and hassle to keep on the payroll.

The prices vary depending on your tastes and budget from £30 per day to £5 per day, with some offering daily delivery to bi-weekly delivery to your home or gym.  I can see this becoming very popular indeed and highly encouraged so that restaurants can do a rip roaring trade as people forget the art of cooking!
