Social Media Agency (Agencies) are real and a rising phenomenon in the digital industry.  This includes Twitter marketing, Facebook marketing and other social media portals.

Of course some of this is rubbish and is just rehashed poor SEO like leaving comments and dropping links in forums.  

I think that with the search engines giving favours to Brands to clean out search, users are getting fed up with search as an information tool and will look to long tail searches, forums, twitter, facebook and linkedins to get questions answered for product research or simply life’s questions.
