A small success, no matter how small, can provide a clue. You must have the instinct to seize an opportunity when it presents itself. A willingness to ignore conventional wisdom and risk everything on folly would help also. A well prepared mind and a skillful follow up would help also. Be Bold: be willing to ignore orders and risk utter disgrace. Opportunities to get rich pop up everyday. Being prepared to analyse the risk and bear the humiliation and act in deadly earnest lead to cash/easy street. (Not that i write this in my own experience! I wish)
