Thoughts for the week
I really love bacon sarnies at St. Chads, I cant wait for more formula 1 action in Valencia, Spain. Thats all I can think of today for now. Otherwise it was interesting to watch a program on the SIA and the loopholes created by former hard criminals being able to start and even control security firms just by labeling themselves as ’security consultants’. My take is that yes its annoying that I’m not hard enough to get into the lucrative business. But then its capitalism isnt it? I mean surely, its better that these former criminals are focused in providing a legal service and get paid for what they best, no? Better that than going back into crime. I’m sure if the SIA stepped things up, they would have the business sense to step up themselves, its up to the SIA to tighten things up. But lets not wrong former criminals trying to go straight, afterall, like anybody else, they’re motivated by money too.
