I couldn’t believe it, as I was pondering why a php page although clearly ploaded as shown in the view of my FTP client – everytime I loaded the document up on my browser (and I checked other browsers and OSs to make sure) – Page Not Found.  I figured the hosting service didn’t support PHP, so I contact the host – what happens?  Lo and behold, the host admin comes back to me and says PHP hasn’t been added to the box. But hey, I can code the web app in asp instead – yeah bloody right!  I will do my utmost to either convince the host to get a grip and support PHP and put his hand in his pocket or move hosts or the least favourable option (most expensive for the client) recode in ASP.  Work it out!
